We respect your privacy

Parakeet ASR and Silero VAD run fully on-device. Your voice never leaves your iPhone, iPad, or Mac when you dictate.

What we don't collect

• We don't record your microphone in the background.
• We don't send your audio or transcripts to our servers.
• We don't have a user account system.

What we do collect

• Crash logs via Apple's standard mechanisms (only if you opted in on your device).
• Anonymous usage metrics via the App Store, governed by Apple.

Optional LLM polish

If — and only if — you enable LLM post-processing in settings, your transcript is sent to the LLM provider you selected (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic, or our own Wisperer Gateway). The provider's privacy policy applies. You can disable this at any time.
